The most efficient way of compression moulding components takes place in Vacuum Chamber where there is closed chamber connected to a pump capable of producing 1 mbar ultimate vacuum. Effective degassing due to the vacuum created around the mould and reduced heat loss to the surroundings makes it the most efficient & effective mode of compression moulding.
VACE Series 30 to 150 ton Vacuum Compression Presses JRD VACE series are state-of the-art, up stroke, hydraulic vacuum chamber compression moulding machines. They are used for moulding rubber, silicone & composites materials.
Our Vacuum Chamber Presses find special use in applications such as 'O' rings, oil seals, washers, gaskets and medical parts where air trapping in moulded parts and insufficiently filled cavities are commonly faced problems. Besides eliminating these problems JRD vacuum presses also reduce the vulcanization time by up to50% due to improved heat transfer from tool to part. The fast closing and opening of mould by auxiliary hydraulic cylinders also reduces cycle time.
These Presses are also available with die sliding/ejector arrangement and tilting of upper platen for easier access. The mould coming out before opening, making it easy for the operator to remove the finished product/reloading for the next cycle. All movements are driven hydraulically and controlled by programmable logic controllers.
